Fiat's photo bomb of VW immortalized on Google Maps
5/16/2012It's your move, Volkswagen. Rival car maker Fiat just pulled off a genius photobombing prank that is literally putting them on the map. The auto company took notice of when Google's camera cars were out taking street-view pics of the Swedish city of Södertälje, where VW has its Swedish operations headquartered, and parked a red Fiat 500 right in front of the building's front door. Like, so close, Volkswagen employees and visitors would literally have to walk around the car to get in the building. It's no telling how soon Google will update its images for Södertälje, so the folks at Volkswagen might be staring at this rival eyesore for a while. But we're sure they're plotting their own good-natured revenge as we speak.
How do you think Volkswagen should prank Fiat back?
