Thoughtful kid brings dad's pot to school to keep him from smoking it

Kids bring all sorts of inappropriate things to school: heroin for show-and-tell, PCP for lunch and guns for protection. But there's a twist to this "kid brings dad's weed to school" story. The kid said he did it to keep his dad from smoking it. The boy, a fifth-grader at Driver Elementary in Suffolk, Va., told his teacher (with his mother there beside him) that he took the stash from his dad's truck because he wanted his dad to stop smoking the stuff. The student is suspended, and the school will hold a hearing to decide whether he should be expelled.
