Women's shelter vows to turn 'Fifty Shades of Grey' into toilet paper
11/6/2012Looking for a purposeful way to get rid of that dirty, dirty copy of "Fifty Shades of Grey" you have hidden away? One women's shelter in the U.K. has decided to turn donated copies of the book into toilet paper – a far cry from their first idea, which was to torch the books in a bonfire. It's all part of a plan by Clare Phillipson, who runs the facility, to do her part to eradicate the "vile" themes of sadism and masochism contained within the racy book. Now she's decided instead that the books will be cut up and used for "toilet roll" before "sticking them on our compost heap." Wonder if Christian Grey would be insulted or turned on? [Source]
