9/19/2012Sure, Lionel Messi might be the world’s greatest soccer player but even he might struggle to score a penalty as blindingly brilliant as this. Finnish Premier League striker Pekka Sihvola has become a YouTube sensation after this video surfaced of his extraordinary effort on the training field. Not only does he score this penalty using the “rabona” method whereby the kicking leg strikes from behind the back of the front standing leg, but he manages to nail the ball into the top corner of the goal. Oh and one more thing – Sihvola does all this blindfolded. Maybe some MLS players should adopt this practice method.
