Fiona Apple's new album title is a 23-word poem. Sure, it's 61 words shorter than 'When the Pawn...' but yeesh! http://t.co/CgPFn8xa
Fiona Apple's new album title is as long and crazy as you'd hope. Welcome back, Fiona, and never, ever change. http://t.co/f1bk3SAX
Fiona Apple's new album title is an unbelievable mouthful
3/8/2012Fiona Apple is at it again. The singer-songwriter has once again opted to use a full sentence as an album title. It's: "The Idler Wheel is wiser than the Driver of the Screw, and Whipping Cords will serve you more than Ropes will ever do." That clocks in at 27 words. It's a mouthful, but shorter than the title of Apple's 1999 album, "When the Pawn ...," which was an eight line poem. Her label, Epic, is planning on releasing the album in June.
