Fish bummed after massive pot mound pulled from Pacific
5/21/2012Snack sales are likely to plummet dramatically in the near future in Southern California. Four tons of pot worth about $3.6 million on the street were found Sunday bobbing in the Pacific Ocean 13 miles from shore. Oddly, there was no evidence of an escaping boat anywhere nearby. "At other events, they've dumped the bales to get rid of weight if they're being chased," said U.S. Border Patrol spokesman Michael Jimenez. "What's ... unusual is that the [more than 160] bales were floating with no boat in sight." The weed was pulled in near surfing mecca Dana Point, midway between San Diego and Los Angeles. Bummer for you, surfer dudes.
What should they do with all that pot?
