Flash mob surprises unemployed people with cheery Beatles song
1/13/2013Being out of work can get you down, but a heart-warming flash mob has dropped a ray of sunlight on this dreary unemployment office in Madrid. This uplifting viral video shows the surprise and bewilderment on the faces of the people in a drab waiting room as, one by one, cheery plotters with the Carne Cruda program rise in an encouraging, violin-infused round of the Beatles' "Here Comes the Sun." As they continue to assemble a small orchestra, you can see staff whisper and dumbfounded would-be workers glance at one other. Spain's 26 percent unemployment rate can't dampen their spirits.
