Florida finally catches up with country, completes election

11/10/2012

It's official: the Florida vote counters have come out of their holes and did not see their shadows, so we will not have another month of presidential elections. Even though the rest of the country had already given President Obama enough electoral votes to take the presidency, Florida took its own sweet time to count all its ballots, and announced today what everyone already knew: Obama won! Thanks, Florida, but maybe you can try and turn your homework in on time next election. This announcement pushes Obama's final electoral tally to 332 votes, which really only matters to Nate Silver at this point. [Source]
