This college is building new dorms ... for cats
2/21/2013How do you solve a huge feral cat problem? According to Florida Southern College, just give the kitties some on-campus housing. The Lakeland, Fla., school has made plans for six five-foot-tall cat dorms built in the style of Frank Lloyd Wright to match the school's famous architecture. The dorms will each include cat cafés for its residents (yes, this is real). While this may seem like an instant recipe for adorable, the cats of Florida Southern College should be a little wary. The idea may sound irresistible, but the structures are actually part of the school's plan to capture and neuter the animals and thus, slowly diminish the pesky population. So, cats: Enjoy luxury at your own risk. [Source]
