Four Loko gets a little more sane with new 'alcohol facts' label
2/13/2013The notorious poison-flavored, radioactive-colored, "blackout in a can" malt beverage Four Loko got a little more sane with the addition of a new "alcohol facts" label. This new warning is the latest step in Four Loko's extreme image downgrade, which started in 2010 with the removal of the caffeine and stimulants that were allegedly causing accidental injuries and deaths. For the few folks who bother to read them, the labels will show that the drink is 12 percent alcohol, meaning one 23.5-ounce can is comparable to drinking four or five beers. [Source]
