Fox affiliate honors Connecticut Women's Day with boob footage

While some might argue that every day is women's day, Connecticut's Women’s Day at the Capitol — an annual event honoring the fairer sex — was acknowledged this week by a Fox affiliate. And what better way to pay respectful tribute to women's social, political and economic achievements than by showing stock footage of breasts? The not-thrilled Connecticut chapter of the National Organization for Women said, "The airing of the footage is repugnant and is not of the level of a credible news organization." The station apologized, admitting, "The video should never have aired. … We are also implementing procedures to keep this from happening in the future."
