Fox 'News' produces a Republican attack ad

Swapping "fair and balanced" for "sturm und drang," Fox News debuted "a look back at the President's first term" on "Fox and Friends." Ostensibly investigating whether Obama's presidency has "lived up to [the ideals of] hope and change," the four-minute clip looks very much like a Republican attack ad, with shots of unemployment lines and a very concerned-looking bald eagle, all played to a soundtrack more typically accompanying Darth Sidious in a "Star Wars" movie. It's so unbalanced that it's even earned some questions from the right: "It makes a pretty powerful argument against another four years of Barack Obama, but that shouldn't be the job of news-reporting organizations," wrote Ed Morrissey on conservative site Hot Air.
