Your iPhone may be late, thanks to 2,000 brawling workers

9/24/2012

Over 2,000 workers threw punches and smashed windows during a massive brawl at a Foxconn factory in China. Foxconn, the frequently troubled employer whose workers make parts for iPhones and other iProducts, has not confirmed the reports, although leaked video shows broken glass and riot police on the scene. Several employees said the fight started when security guards started to beat two workers, a conflict that escalated to the point that 5,000 officers had to be called in to regain control. The factory, located in Taiyuan, China, could remain closed for two or three days. That's nice, but WHAT ABOUT THE iPHONE 5 SHORTAGE?! [Source]
