11/16/2012Next time you're visiting Scotland, do not feed the police horses your delicious, savory sausage rolls, no matter how appetizing that might sound. It's actually against the law, and now, 41-year-old Francis Kelly is set to stand trial on breach of the peace charges. Prosecutors claim Kelly acted in a "threatening" and "abusive manner" when trying to feed the horses and even copped an attitude when the police told him to stop. Kelly reportedly plans to fight the charges using the defense that he "simply thought the horses looked hungry." Not sure that'll hold up in court, Francis, but good luck with that. [Source]
