Attorney swamped by hopefuls after offering free Valentine's divorce
2/12/2013For those currently extracting the painful splinters of Cupid's arrow from their hearts, this Valentine's Day special certainly appeals. Attorney Walter H. Bentley III of Southfield, Mich., is offering one free divorce to a worthy candidate. Nearly 500 Michigan residents have applied, hoping Bentley will end their union gratis. Bentley's currently whittling down the list to find "someone truly struggling to move forward. Maybe they're struggling to make ends meet, and they don't have enough money for a divorce." As Bentley says, "You can't find a new love before you close the chapter on the old." Put that in a Hallmark card. [Source]
