Atheists who don't want anyone to ski past Jesus sue Montana resort
11/29/2012A national group of atheists and agnostics will move forward with its lawsuit to force the removal of a statue of Jesus on a Montana ski slope — hundreds of miles from the organization's Wisconsin headquarters. The Knights of Columbus and four Montana residents had asked a judge to toss the suit brought by the Freedom From Religion Foundation because it "had not named anyone actually harmed by the statue." In response, the foundation found an atheist who lived 15 miles from the ski slope to attest to his offense at seeing the statue — which means the lawsuit will proceed. "I could just say 'Hallelujah,'" the group's co-president says. [Source]
