Demure French lady will shock you with her heavy metal prowess

Check out Rachel, a seemingly demure singer stepping on stage to audition for the French TV show, “France Has Incredible Talent.” Like a creature from some twisted fairytale, this 24-year-old elegantly dressed young lady lets it rip with inhuman heavy metal growls that she says she can maintain for about 90 minutes. Yep, she made it through, with one judge exclaiming, “You have steel vocal chords.” In real life Rachel fronts metal band Dividead, and is an educational assistant – perhaps she honed her skills hollering at naughty kids. Today she’s given us a resounding lesson in what you see isn’t always what you get.
