French soccer team to get in fans' faces with 3-D jerseys
4/28/2012Next time you attend a pro sporting event, don't be shocked if the fan next to you pulls on a pair of 3-D glasses. French soccer club Lyon may have simply started a trend. The team has announced that it will be the first pro-sports squad to feature 3-D designs on their jerseys, though folks will need to wear 3-D glasses to catch the full effect. Adidas is cooking up the new shirts for the start of next season. Should be fun when the 40,500 fans at Stade de Gerland all put on their specs simultaneously. Folks in the last row, of course, might have to use 3-D binoculars.
How distracting do you think these shirts will be?
