Freshman revels in joy of college life, gets hit by bus

University of Texas freshman Nick Engmann is lucky to be alive after an Austin bus driver ran a red light and smashed into him, caught here on camera. Incredibly, Engmann was released after a brief visit to the hospital. (The driver, meanwhile, has been suspended.) Engmann was hit while participating in a middle-of-the-street foam swordfight, a semester-ending tradition at UT that is, bafflingly, sponsored by the university. "He needs to play football if he can take a hit like that," one student said, and the YouTube video is jokingly named "Capital Metro Bus Hit By A Nick." Good thing we're all laughing.
