There was a Full Wolf Moon last night, which sounds pretty cool

1/27/2013

When someone tells you there was a Full Wolf Moon last night, don't turn on CNN expecting to see that Mr. Blitzer dropped his drawers. A Full Wolf Moon is actually the Native American Algonquin tribe's term for the first full moon of the new year. The tribe also had names for the rest of the year's full moons, so you can look forward to the full worm moon in March or the full sturgeon moon in August. Yeah, it seems like the Algonquins thought up a pretty awesome name for the first moon, then kind of mailed it in after that. [Source]
