Future employers want your Facebook password
3/7/2012Managing your Facebook privacy settings might not be enough these days. Some employers are asking job seekers to cough up their logins and passwords, and some, such as the Maryland Department of Corrections, are asking potential employees to log in right in front of them, msnbc reports. DOC job applicants must log in and click through wall posts, friends and photos to show they're not affiliated with any gangs. Student athletes at some colleges are required to "friend" a coach or other team rep and give them access to their "friends-only" posts. The best part is that sharing your password and letting someone else access your account violates Facebook's Terms of Service.
