Man allegedly shoots neighbor's dogs, then leaves VM bragging about it

2/23/2013

Mary Bock's Bernese Mountain dogs were by all accounts loveable animals who were great with her children. When Argus and Fiona got out of the family's Pennsylvania home and ran onto neighbor Gabriel Pilotti's farm, he allegedly shot them both. Bock then reportedly called a friend and left a chilling voicemail: "Hey, it's Gabe," he said. "Two shots, two more dogs." The police are investigating the shooting and Pilotti, who raises sheep and alpacas, said that neither dog growled or bared its teeth, nor did he yell in an attempt to scare them away. "He had other options," Bock said. "He could have fired the gun into the air. He could have yelled. But he just picked up the gun and fired." [Source]
