Gang who planned fake drug bust arrested in actual drug bust, cops say
1/11/2013A not-so-diligent crew of New Yorkers was foiled in their alleged attempt to rip off a drug deal, disguised as cops. Prosecutors say that the Bronx gang, led by Javion "King Kong" Camacho, planned to wear fake police vests and shirts, and use ski masks, cars and even a police scanner to bust the transaction. But while the gang was planning to fool the drug dealers, they failed to spot that their own crew had been infiltrated by Drug Enforcement Administration agents, police say. Uh, major fail, guys. The DEA arrested the men on Wednesday, and Camacho admitted he had been caught "red-handed," according to court papers. [Source]
