Dancing 'Gangnam Style' may be deadly for older men, doctors warn
12/13/2012Middle-aged men, be warned: Dancing "Gangnam Style" could be deadly. Eamonn Kilbride, a 46-year-old father of three, died of a heart attack while dancing vigorously to PSY's hit at an office party in England last weekend. His demise prompted a stern warning for viral-inspired gallopers who are (face it, fellas) not so young anymore. "The chance that you’ll come to grief is very small," says cardiologist Bernard Keavney. "But as with any form of untypical exercise … be somewhat measured. Let the lady dance around you." Sadly, Kilbride's lady, his wife of 23 years, was celebrating her birthday at the fete and had just toasted her husband as "the life of the party." [Source]
