Pro surfer Garrett McNamara has the surf community doing a 360 over video footage, photos and eyewitness accounts that claim he surfed a giant,100-foot liquid beast in Nazaré, Portugal, at the same surf mecca where he set the last world record (a piddling 78-foot wave). Naysayers point out the difficulty of accurately measuring waves — one magazine is even accusing the media of jumping the gun with their "100-foot-wave" headlines.
