Ex-'CSI' star can't live on $14K a month, files for bankruptcy
11/13/2012Here's one for the celebrity bankruptcy files: Former "CSI" star Gary Dourdan has filed for Chapter 11 in hopes of getting out of a massive $1.73 million debt, some of which is owed to the bank that holds the mortgage to his home (which may be in default). Dourdan, who lost his plum TV gig over contract disputes in 2008 and has had arrests in recent years for drug possession and battery related to a domestic dispute, claims that, although he makes about $14,883 per month, his regular bills consume all but $321 of that. He's hoping new "major acting roles" might help him up his income. [Source]
