Gay Romney supporter and friend booted from rally for ... who knows?
10/28/2012Though Romney rallies may not have an explicit dress code, Iowa City residents Chase Gunderson and Adam Peters found out firsthand that looking a certain way can still get you banned from the event. After the two gay 20-somethings were kicked out of the rally without explanation, Peters wrote a Facebook note that is now being shared across the Internet. Peters expresses confusion, writing, "Mr. Romney- I may not support you... but my friend HAS and DID for the last 5 years ... yet, we weren't allowed to attend? Why? […] Was it because we are gay or looked too flamboyant for your rally?" Congratulations to President Obama for gaining two more votes. [Source]
