Now ANOTHER general is in trouble for having a special lady friend
11/13/2012We don't use the phrase "the plot thickens" very often, but when it comes to Gen. David Petraeus' extramarital activities, that description fits. Now Gen. John Allen, who succeeded Petraeus as commander of U.S. forces in Afghanistan and was nominated to become NATO Supreme Allied Commander, is being investigated for inappropriate communication with Jill Kelley, the woman that Petraeus' sidepiece, Paula Broadwell, allegedly harassed. Investigators have discovered 20,000 to 30,000 pages of correspondence between Allen and Kelley, both married to other people. The FBI is keeping details of those documents — as well as whether there's "criminal action involved" (adultery is a court-martial offense in the military) — quiet. Sometimes those Lifetime movies just write themselves, don't they? [Source]
