Gennifer Flowers says affair with Clinton helped make him president

Remember Gennifer Flowers? Bill Clinton certainly does: In 1992 she claimed she'd had a long-running affair with him, nearly derailing his presidential campaign with the allegations. Although that's not how Flowers sees it. In an interview with New Orleans TV station WGNO, she said her revelations actually helped Clinton win the presidency. "I made him a household name overnight," she boasted, adding that she and Clinton discussed ways to boost his profile. (Because if there's one thing voters love, it's philandering candidates.)
