Photo shows bloodied Zimmerman on night of Trayvon Martin shooting
12/3/2012A photograph of George Zimmerman reportedly taken on the night he shot and killed teenager Trayvon Martin was released by his legal team and shows Zimmerman with a swollen, bleeding nose. Zimmerman lawyer Mark O'Mara says the photo clearly shows the injuries his client sustained during a confrontation with Martin. Zimmerman has claimed he shot Martin in self-defense during a struggle. Martin family lawyer Ben Crump disagreed that the photo was significant, saying previous evidence had shown Zimmerman was hit in the face during an altercation. Zimmerman's murder trial will begin in June of 2013. [Source]
