Gere calls 'Pretty Woman' his least favorite movie
3/20/2012Richard Gere told Woman's Day magazine that his least favorite film of his is "Pretty Woman," calling it a "silly romantic comedy" and lamenting that it glorifies bankers. "It made those guys seem dashing, which was wrong. Thankfully, today, we are all more skeptical of those guys," Gere said. Regardless, Gere's gone back to the well for his newest film, "Arbitrage": He plays a desperate hedge fund billionaire trying to cover up a crime. Though Gere has a mistress in this new film, too, it's definitely not a fairy tale love story involving over-the-knee hooker boots and Rodeo Drive shopping sprees.
