Germany hopping mad over naughty Kermit the Frog

They used to be all about rainbows and making us tear up with happiness, but now Courtney Love is accusing them of "raping" Kurt Cobain's memory and Kermit the Frog is apparently in serious hot water with Germany. It's all because German TV networks must explicitly acknowledge when a show advertises or plugs a project, but when naughty Kermit hosted a "Disney Day" on the Pro7 network last year, he mentioned the theatrical release of the new Muppets movie without any disclaimer. Oops. German media authorities have now found Kermit guilty of illegal product placement -- it's unclear whether any further action will follow, but clearly it's no easier being green in 2012.
