Giant video of yule log convinces citizens that stadium is on fire

The Canadian Football League's Saskatchewan Roughriders tried to spread several hundred square feet of holiday cheer by showing a burning yule log on their giant video screens at Mosaic Stadium. Instead, they spread chaos and panic, with concerned (and possibly nearsighted) citizens calling the fire department to report that the stadium was on fire. Deputy fire chief Gerard Kay said the callers were so convinced by the flickering flames that they even reported smelling smoke. "I'm hoping we can eliminate this and put something a little more appropriate up," Kay said. "Maybe some snowflakes or Santa." We can hear the calls now: GUYS! SANTA CLAUS IS ATTACKING THE STADIUM!
