Girl in a coma wakes up when Adele song plays on radio
6/19/2012Adele has one of the most distinctive voices in pop music. Apparently, so evocative are the pop songstress' pipes that they can even wake a comatose child. Charlotte Neve, a seven-year-old English girl, fell into a coma following surgeries to stop bleeding from a brain hemorrhage. Leila Neve, the girl's mother, was told by doctors to prepare for the worst. While cuddling with her daughter, Adele's "Rolling in the Deep" played on the radio — a song mother and daughter sang together — and Leila Neve began singing. Charlotte smiled. Now, two months later, she's relearning how to walk and talk, and has even returned to school.
