Feathered friend has commuters wondering what the duck is going on

Are the people in this video alarmed by seeing a duck on public transport? Or is it the alternative styling of the duck's female chaperone that's disturbing these folks on the metro in Barcelona, Spain? Odd couple they may be, but the duck and girl seem to be great friends. Maybe they should move to Berlin, where a pony riding the subway is no big deal.
