Thin Mint-loving thieves steal $19,000 worth of Girl Scout cookies
2/28/2013Someone in South Carolina has just earned merit badges in “Burglary” and “Ruining Things for Everyone” after stealing $19,000 worth of Girl Scout cookies from a warehouse. The (literally) sticky-fingered suspects made off with a stack of Thin Mints and Shortbread cookies that were being housed by Carey Moving and Storage (and the fact that they left the Samoas behind proves that we're dealing with some seriously depraved individuals). A spokesperson for the storage company says that in the 40-plus years they've delivered cookies for the Girl Scouts, they've never had a theft like this. Tell that to everyone who ordered a box of Thin Mints, buddy. [Source]
