Even doubters are warming up to the idea of climate change

Al Gore can now feel vindicated. Nearly four out of five Americans now believe global warming is real and will get worse if nothing is done about it, according to a new poll by the Associated Press and a German research firm. What's more, even many people who say they don't trust scientists now say climate change exists — based on their own experiences: the storms, the floods, the droughts, the polar ice melt, the unseasonable temps. "One extreme event after another after another," Yale climate change expert Anthony Leiserowitz said. "People have noticed. ... They're connecting the dots between climate change and this long bout of extreme weather themselves." [Source]
