'I'm freeee!' Goat escapes from slaughterhouse, runs wild in Brooklyn

2/8/2013

A goat with a survival instinct escaped from a slaughterhouse and was found running through the streets of Brooklyn at 1 a.m. Thursday. The goat was described as looking "disoriented" (although that's how pretty much everyone in Brooklyn looks in the small hours of the morning) and banged into several buildings before being corralled in a parking lot. A local hospital worker somehow grabbed the goat by the horns and held him until the cops arrived. The goat was thrown into the back of a cruiser, taken to animal control and — happy ending alert! — will be sent to a farm upstate. Wait, that's not the same "farm upstate" where Mom and Dad sent all our old dogs, is it? [Source]
