To us, Godzilla is a goofy cultural icon. But to a dog, the beast is a terrifying, razor-toothed monster capable of unleashing terror on defenseless canines. Sure, the plastic toy is half this dog's size — but who knows what it could do? The pup in this video (who obviously failed guard-dog school) is overcome by fear upon seeing the toy lizard, turning on a dime to take a self-preserving leap into the bathtub. The cutest part of the gif, apparently created from an old "America's Funniest Home Videos" episode, is a moment later when it peers its head around the shower curtain to see if the threat has subsided. Note to dog owners: Don't count on this one for night watch.
