The champion skier reportedly racked up the debt in 2010, the year she skied off with a gold medal at the Vancouver Olympics. Rushing to protect her all-American, fresh-scrubbed-but-sexy image -- and all those lucrative endorsement deals -- Vonn has posted an explanation on her Facebook page, insisting "I have done everything in my power to settle it immediately." Fans have posted notes of support praising her beauty, skiing prowess and intelligence, as well as a few offers for help, including a "kamikaze to crash an IRS office by plane."
