Golfer’s tee shot bounces neatly into a woman’s sweater
2/27/2012It may be time for golf fans to consider wearing tight-fitting clothes to the tournaments (or just standing farther away from the fairway). Just a week after Phil Mickelson's tee shot at the Northern Trust Open found a home in a fan's shorts, Lee Westwood went left off the 13th tee at the Accenture Match Play event, as he was in the process of losing in the semis to Rory McIlroy. The ball bounced up -- and down the back of a woman's sweater. The ruling, of course, gave Westwood a free drop, but caddie Billy Foster had a better idea. "Would you mind walking 250 yards further?" he asked the spectator.
