Good Samaritan arrested for thwarting burglar
2/22/2012A Good Samaritan in New Hampshire is facing reckless endangerment charges after he caught a burglar in his neighborhood. Dennis Fleming, 61, fired his handgun into the ground when he saw a man climbing out of his neighbor's window, Fox News reports. Fleming had come home to find his house burglarized when he noticed the burglar making an escape at another house. He held the robber until cops came, who then placed both Fleming and the robber in handcuffs. Fleming faces a similar sentence as the burglar: up to seven years in prison if convicted. We think a jury might let Fleming go on this one.
Should he have been arrested?
