Boy saved from tornado by heroic great-grandmother
2/2/2013A heroic woman in northern Georgia took on a tornado and won, saving her 2-year-old great-grandson. Betty Stewart, 80, was baby sitting little Zane McFarland when a twister tore through their Gordon County home. Stewart grabbed a quilt, scooped up Zane, and lay on top of him. Despite being thrown from the house, both survived. Stewart’s back was broken in two places, and she is still recuperating in the hospital. Little Zane suffered only a broken leg. So let that be a lesson to you, tornadoes. You may take our homes, but you will never take our great-grandmothers. [Source]
