Groom tragically dies two minutes after wedding

A 26-year-old battling a rare form of cancer tragically died just two minutes after his wedding. Gordon Wolder fought leiomyosarcoma as a teenager, but while planning his Oct. 2012 nuptials to Kari Nolte he received the devastating news that it had returned. When his condition deteriorated last month, they married at home surrounded by family on Apr. 14. Nolte and Wolder lay in bed during the ceremony and his last words were "I do." He passed away two minutes after their vows. "They kissed, and after they kissed Gordon tried to stay," said his dad. "He tried to stay with us. He really did. And we told him, 'You're married now, son, and it's OK.'"
