Animals know when they've done something wrong, whether they've just scratched up a couch, taken liberties with a favorite rug or used your shoes as an impromptu litter box, and these adorably contrite photos prove it. Pets may never learn to speak English, but judging by the looks on their faces, the message is clear: "Sorry. Won't do it ever again. Promise." And this time, they'd better mean it, or we're busting out the sign-shaming.
