Guitar-shop-singing sensation finally releases first album

Remember this 2009 video of an employee at Dan's Chelsea Guitars in NYC freaking out when young Brendan MacFarlane belts out a song? The surprised worker exclaims, "Dude, how does that happen? You got sick one day and you woke up and you could do that?" The original vid is fresh enough to be making the rounds again, racking up 373,000 hits in less than two days and fooling the experts at country radio station KNUE, who apparently haven't done their research and are predicting that Brendan will become an overnight superstar. It's taken a lot longer than that, guys, but the Scottish teen has just released his first album, "The Road" -- so you're half right.
