Gun maker claims B of A says it doesn't want his business
4/29/2012Is Bank of America shutting out gun owners? That's what Kelly McMillan says. The operations director for the Arizona-based McMillan gun manufacturing companies claims a Bank of America employee told him that the bank was severing their relationship because it didn't want to be associated with gun makers. A national B of A employee refuted the idea, noting that it does business several gun manufacturers but was in a "transition period" with McMillan. How will this standoff end? Kelly McMillan claims to have never bounced a check or missed a payment, so he shouldn't have a problem finding his company a new home. He probably just needed to shoot off some steam.
Would it be fair for a bank to sever ties with a firearms maker?
