Gun range to let shooters take shots, and knock them back, too

9/21/2012

To most people, bullets and beer seems like a bad combination. But for one Georgia couple, it’s a business opportunity. Kristina Brown and her husband own a gun shop in Acworth, Ga., and are currently building a $3.5 million gun range in nearby Powder Springs. The Governor’s Club is expected to be "state of the art" — and boozy. The couple received an alcohol permit, and plan to serve alcohol at the new facility (permit-carrying gun owners in Georgia can bring their weapons into restaurants that serve booze). As a precaution, Brown said that once patrons purchase alcohol, they won’t be allowed back onto the range. [Source]
