3 people shot at Arizona office building1/30/2013
As the federal government continues to debate whether to implement new gun control measures, Americans continue to get shot. Today, a lone gunman reportedly walked into an office building in Phoenix, opened fire, and shot at least three people (six people were taken to the hospital; three for gunshot wounds and three for unknown causes). Police don't believe the incident was a random act, and the gunman is still at large. The shooting drew mention during the Senate testimony of former Arizona Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, who was herself the victim of a shooting. During the testimony, Giffords' husband, Mark Kelly, notified the Senate that there had been "what seems to be a shooting with multiple victims with multiple shots fired." [Source]
