Prestigious theater features special seats for tweeters
12/28/2012If you can sit next to someone tweeting their way through a show or film without slapping the phone out of their hands, congratulations to you. The rest of us will head to the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis, which now features a special balcony where audience members who want to live tweet their viewing experience ("Totally into it hanging on every word RT for follow back #First Act") can tap away contentedly and leave the rest of us in peace. The so-called "Tweet seats" are available throughout the run of the play "A Servant of Two Masters," and if you find yourself in such a seat we can safely say one of those masters is a smartphone.
